Information on the Disposal of Batteries and Accumulators according to the German Battery Act (BattG)
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries or accumulators, we are legally obliged as a retailer to inform you about the following regulations:
Obligation for Proper Disposal
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end-user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries and accumulators.
Disposal with normal household waste is strictly prohibited and violates the Battery Act.
The Crossed-Out Wheelie Bin Symbol
The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on batteries, accumulators, or their packaging indicates that they must not be disposed of with household waste.

Return Options for Used Batteries
You can return used batteries that we sell or have sold as new free of charge at the following locations:
- Public Collection Points: At municipal collection points and recycling centers.
- Retailers and Outlets: At any point of sale for batteries and accumulators.
- Directly to Us: You can return used batteries to us or drop them off in person at our business address. The return is limited to quantities typical for a household.

Meaning of the Chemical Symbols
Batteries and accumulators can contain harmful substances that may damage the environment and health. Below the symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin, you will find the chemical designation of the respective heavy metal:
- Pb = battery contains lead
- Cd = battery contains cadmium
- Hg = battery contains mercury
